Year round health<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vie Val d\u2019Is is available year round to help support you with any health care enquiries and to answer your questions.<\/p>\n

Improving the health of those living in Val d\u2019Is\u00e8re, with the help of local partners, is one of the objectives of the association. Vie Val d\u2019Is wishes to raise awareness of health risks related to the living conditions within resort and to facilitate healthcare access.<\/p>\n

Blood donation :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two collections are organised each year in Val d\u2019Is\u00e8re by the group \u00ab\u00a0Fran\u00e7ais du Sang\u00a0\u00bb and volunteers from \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019amicale b\u00e9n\u00e9vole des donneurs de sang\u00a0\u00bb in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.<\/p>\n

If you wish to donate, bring an identity card and eat beforehand.<\/p>\n

Health day (la journ\u00e9e sant\u00e9)\u00a0 : Tuesday 20th of January 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This event takes place once a year at the \u00ab\u00a0Maison de Val\u00a0\u00bb. The aim of the health day is to provide free and anonymous consultations with various health professionals offering ; HIV, AIDS and hepatitis testing, skin cancer check, osteopath, contraceptive and sexual health information, advice on diet and nutrition, drug and alcohol awareness and psychological support.<\/p>\n

The health day is free, anonymous and open to all.<\/p>\n

Fight against addictions :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Association P\u00e9lican, which specialises in helping addicts, offers support to those at risk from addictions to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gambling, etc.<\/p>\n

Work-health doctor (M\u00e9decine du travail) :<\/strong><\/p>\n

The aims of the work-health check is to look at the health of the employee, hygiene conditions and risks linked to the work environment. The Work Health (Sant\u00e9 au Travail) services are available for all your work related health enquiries.<\/p>\n

There are several types of medical visits for employees :<\/p>\n

-the information and prevention meeting, which replaces the previous \u00ab\u00a0start of contract\u00a0\u00bb doctors appointment which should take place no later than 3 months after the start of contract.<\/p>\n

-the individual follow on check up for workers of professions with specific risks (asbestos, lead, decompression, etc.),<\/p>\n

-check ups following sick \/ maternity leave,<\/p>\n

-check ups upon demand of the employer, employee or work doctor,<\/p>\n

-and complementary examinations which could be carried out or prescribed by the work doctor (for example, specific health problems related to certain professions)<\/p>\n
